Dominated by sketches, this exhibition explores that arousing overlap between art and architecture. A simple sampling of documents from a student/practitioner/educator of architecture, exposing fifteen years of personal observation and recordings through a variety of mediums with a bias towards documenting through the sketchbook. From examinations of light to the exploration of line the work presented is the enveloping product of professional and personal interests. Avoiding any position on aesthetic dogma, the architectonic and emotive force behind the work is in fact shortsighted, never attempting to proclaim but instead examine, perceive and reveal.
