The exhibition, CU@SU; SU@CU, held concurrently at XL Projects in Syracuse and the Clifford Art Gallery on the Colgate campus, showcased the high standards and the diversity of work achieved by current undergraduate and graduate art students at Colgate and Syracuse Universities. Promotion of a healthy visual and verbal dialogue between these two groups of neighboring students is facilitated by these exchange exhibitions.
Both galleries hosted open discussions with the participating artists, affording a broader understanding of issues and considerations facing today’s contemporary artists.
