Senior Studio Art
As a culmination of their work in the major, all senior art history concentrators write a substantial thesis in their last semester at Colgate. The art history theses this year examine topics that span many centuries and geographical regions; Studio Art students have worked in a wide variety of mediums including video, printmaking, painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, as well as with digital technology. The projects explore personal and public histories, as well as ephemeral narratives that can be pieced together.
